- The numbers are usually not the most important part of reviewing and analyzing prospects, but it's becoming more difficult to ignore what Mike O'Neill is doing for a second straight season. It's really hard to tell how this translates into a major league regular, but at a certain point the numbers do mean enough to outweigh the things you can tell by looking at a prospect.
- Craig Goldstein took a look at Padres (and former Red Sox) farm hand Reymond Fuentes last week.
- Sam Evans of Fish Stripes took a look at the top five future hit tools in the Marlins' minor leagues right now, with no major surprises at the top in Christian Yelich, the currently unsigned Colin Moran, and Jake Marisnick leading the way.
- We saw a number of top prospects arrive in Miguel Sano, Gregory Polanco, and Garin Cecchini, while George Springer was promoted to AAA following the AA All-Star Game.
