The 2014 Polar Plunge was a success, and we couldn't do it without your support!
Saturday afternoon's 2014 Polar Plunge was a success and for that we thank you!
The Lake Elsinore Storm staff plunged into the frigid water of Big Bear Lake on Saturday afternoon to raise funds for the Special Olympics. The team had a total goal of $2,000 and surpassed it with $2,335 and we have YOU to thank!
And as promised, with your gracious donation here is the soaking wet evidence! The video taken from the entire day of activities will soon follow, but for now enjoy the photographic evidence from Saturdays plunge.
Our colorful characters included Thunder, Iron Man, The Banana, Red-Man, Frau, Sponge Bob and Bat-Girl (yours truly)! The water was cold but the event was heartwarming. The amount of people that appeared and supported such a worthy cause was beautiful, and it was incredible to see people come together to support others.
As a member of the Storm Baseball Polar Plunge Team, I speak for us all when I thank you and tell you all how much we appreciate every single one of you for your heartfelt support.
