SAN DIEGO -- The Dodgers look to rebound from Friday night's extra-inning loss by sending Zack Greinke to the mound against the Padres on Saturday night at Petco Park.
Greinke this season is 8-0 with a 1.79 ERA in 10 starts against the National League West, with 72 strikeouts and 15 walks in 65⅓ innings. Since joining the Dodgers, Greinke is 14-1 with a 2.03 ERA in 22 starts against the NL West, with 139 strikeouts and 38 walks in 141⅔ innings. The Dodgers are 19-3 in those starts.
The Dodgers have won all five Greinke starts against the Padres, including four by one run.
The Dodgers lineup originaly did not have Hanley Ramirez on Saturday, after he exited Friday's game with leg stiffness. But after going through running drills in the outfield before the game on Saturday with trainer Stan Conte and manager Don Mattingly watching.
"He looked really good. Everything was easy," Mattingly said. "We just made sure he could do everything, and not be limited. [Stan] was satisfied."
The lineup will have Yasiel Puig back in center field, loking to snap an 0-for-19 skid. He struck out as a pinch hitter in Friday night's game.
